I helped a friend cut and sew some 20 foot spandex triangles the other day and this is what they turned into at Sunset Music Festival :D

of course I take the nice photo of myself with my stuff after half of it’s already been sold. and why did no one want the candy corn and eggplant? :<
anyway, yay my very first craft fair! I was worried that my colorful things with cute faces on them were going to be really out of place among all the robots and tesla coils and soldering workshops, but turns out, families bring their kids to these shows, and man oh man do kids love my shit. I had people coming up to me going, “oh so these are the moustaches everyone is talking about” and telling me they saw my Etsy shop online beforehand, which made my ego balloon to celebrity status. also I got a lot of offers for my Daft Punk helmet (which I brought just to display, not sell), which is crazy because it’s chipped everywhere and super sloppy up close. and I must’ve gone through at least 100 business cards, most of them being people just taking them from the table or asking me for them.
so great success? moar pls?
PS: in case you’re wondering why it looks like it’s taking me every ounce of energy to smile here, it’s because I probably got a collective 10 hours of sleep this past week. putting faces on stuffed food is no joke.

just finished a commission for Lili Rochefort from Tekken 6. working with white on white on white = not fun when you like to mark ALL THE THINGS in whatever’s lying around closest to you, like sharpies or inking pens. :|

if you’ve never had a photoshoot drunk at 2pm on a Saturday in the middle of an anime convention, you haven’t lived.

I started cosplaying again. don’t judge me. :V
